Off topic, but important. There's been a shooting at the War Memorial which has left one soldier wounded, the shooter is still on the loose, and is apparently now at Parliament Hill. Avoid the downtown core if you can.

Also, the University of Ottawa, which is about a kilometre away from the shooting, has yet to go into lockdown mode. I'm pretty pissed about that.

It's a crazy day here. Our office is south east of downtown and we heard plenty of police vehicles and choppers moving north.
